Under the new Data Protection (GDPR) legislation which comes into effect on 25th May 2018, we’re required to inform you how we store and process your personal data.
Why We Have Your Data
Through the Builder’s Profile service members can submit Compliance and PQQ information to main contractors with whom organisations have or wish to have a business relationship. We currently hold your data as you were nominated as operational contact for your company.
What Data we Store
The only ‘Personal Data’ we store about you is your name, email address and, in some cases, we may also store a business phone number and a job or role title. We never collect or process any ‘Sensitive Personal Data’.
How Your Data Is Processed
Builder’s Profile has a ‘legitimate interest’ in processing your data to facilitate the transfer of compliance information between your organisation and your selected main contractor clients. We will only ever directly email you with system, newsletter or marketing emails if you have given your express consent.
Your Rights
Our policy provides clear information on what personal information we collect. It also explains your rights under GDPR to access, update or erase your personal information.
