A Significant Increase in Projects secured by BP Contractors – May 2021

There’s been an increase of projects won by BP Main Contractors since April, please see the snapshot details of the £600 million nationwide projects below.

Health Care

Willmott Dixon with their strong track record in delivering health and care hubs, secured the new £43 million Chiltern Vale Integrated Health and Care Hub, the project’s scope includes the construction of 98 new homes for residents over 55.  The development will host a wide range of services including primary care services, social care and mental health services for children and adults. Willmott Dixon are recognised for their commitment to working in a sustainable and responsible way, working with the customer on the internal layout to provide adaptability against current and future pandemics.

Highways

After the successful completion of the Lincoln Eastern bypass, Galliford Try continue to strengthen their relationship with local authorities. Their Highways sector were appointed by Lincolnshire County Council to carry out one of the largest projects in May, the Southern Relief Road worth £48 million. The project expected to be completed later this year will stretch for 3.5km, linking the A52 at Somerby Hill to the A1. The project aims to reduce carbon emissions and noise pollution alongside a decrease of congestion, disruption, and delays and create a safe and accessible town centre.
