Use these to Upload new documents as well as Display and View documents.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3935 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/DocSlot-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"566\" height=\"53\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/DocSlot-1.png 566w, https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/DocSlot-1-300x28.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 566px) 100vw, 566px\" \/><br \/>\n\u2018Uploading\u2019 a document adds it into an account &#8216;<strong>Document Library<\/strong>&#8216; (see image below). &#8216;Selecting&#8217; an existing document from the library displays it on the Profile.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-3952 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/DocLibrary-e1585237963575.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\" height=\"222\" \/><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/smallpdf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Small PDF<\/strong><\/a> is a fantastic tool to use when looking to convert documents into PDF or to compress file size<\/p>\n<h1>How To Upload a Document<\/h1>\n<p>Clicking the &#8216;<strong>Select<\/strong>&#8216; button on the document slot opens the document manager panel to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upload a new document to the document library and display it on the document slot.<br \/>\n<strong>Or<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select an existing document from the document library to be displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Firstly check your document fits the format requirements; the size is below 8MB and the format is an image file.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-3941 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/UploadedDoc-300x235.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\" height=\"227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/UploadedDoc-300x235.png 300w, https:\/\/www.buildersprofile.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/UploadedDoc.png 363w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 290px) 100vw, 290px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click &#8216;<strong>Choose File<\/strong>&#8216; and browse your device for the required document.<\/p>\n<p>Double clicking the required document returns to the Document manager panel.<\/p>\n<p>Click &#8216;<strong>Upload File<\/strong>&#8216;. A successful document upload will be added at the bottom of the library list on the left.<\/p>\n<p>View the Document to check to Document has uploaded correctly and is visible.<\/p>\n<h2>Trouble shooting<\/h2>\n<p>When a document appears to upload but is not available in the document library, it may be because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The document size is larger than 8MB<\/li>\n<li>It may not be an image file format. It will it not accept .doc, .xls, .ppt , .txt, .csv type documents<\/li>\n<li>File name must also be alpha\/numerical.
