Updating Insurance Information<\/h1>\n

Summary<\/h2>\n

To enable Contractors to complete continuous assessments for site qualification it is import that Company Insurance information is accurate and up to date. The Insurance tabs will be editable to make changes to as long as they are ‘Unlocked’. If the Insurances are Locked and no changes can be made, a Validation might be in place from a previous set of Insurances or alternatively a Validation request may of been sent for completion.<\/p>\n

How To Unlock Validation<\/h1>\n

Firstly check the Validation status of the Insurance.<\/p>\n

1. Go to the ‘Validation’ <\/strong>tab along the top and view the Validation grid. Example grid below.<\/p>\n

\nA \u2018Status\u2019 column on the right-hand side might display a Green Tick icon if a Validation is currently in place. Alternatively the status could show as \u2018Pending\u2019, this signifies the Broker has not yet carried out the Validation.<\/p>\n

2. To remove the Validation, click the ‘Unlock\u2019<\/strong> button next to each Policy (Or click ‘Unlock All’<\/strong> for all policies). The status will revert back to \u2018No Active Request\u2019<\/strong>, this indicates the information held on the policy tabs is available to edit and no request or validation is currently in place for this policy.<\/p>\n

3. By moving into the Policy tabs across the top, changes and updates can be carried out to details such as the Expiry Date, Limits of Liability, Policy Number etc.<\/p>\n

When the correct information for each policy has been entered, return back to the ‘Validation’ tab to send a new request over to the Insurance Broker for Validation. Validation can often be a supply chain requirement for some Main contractor Clients.<\/p>\n

Insurance Documents<\/h2>\n

Insurance Documents are a separate element to the Validation Process and are not accessible to the Insurance Broker.<\/p>\n

All policy Documentation can be uploaded or deselected at any point in the ‘Documents<\/strong>‘ tab across the top. Documents must be in a PDF or an image format such as .JPEG or .PNG and Documents must be under 8MB.<\/p>\n
