Builders' Conference are the construction sector’s leading Trade Association, providing their members with up to the minute sales leads, market intelligence, statistical data and networking opportunities. Safety Management Advisory Services Ltd (SMAS) is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement, SSIP. They are a H&S Assessment organisation that takes great pride in their professionalism, customer service and efficiency. Working with many of the major UK housebuilders they have developed experience and expertise in new build construction but they also deal with many other construction organisations.
Builder's Profile and SMAS are proud to have established a new partnership which aims to further reduce the duplication involved in maintaining compliance and PQQ information; as well as meeting H&S obligations. The joint solution which has been developed between the two organisations aims to deliver direct benefits to both Contractors and the Main Contractors who employ them to carry out work.
Build UK provides a strong collective voice for the contracting supply chain in construction. They bring together 27 of the industry’s largest Main Contractors and 40 leading trade associations representing over 11,500 Specialist Contractors. Providing influential and dynamic leadership, Build UK ensures a joined up approach from the supply chain, making them the ‘go to’ representative organisation for industry stakeholders.
Build UK was created as a result of a merger between the National Specialist Contractors’ Council (NSCC) and UK Contractors Group (UKCG) in 2015.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image. The Scheme is concerned about any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.
